Adult Mentors are female leaders who have experience working with girls. They embody the Lemon Aide Society’s core beliefs and recognize that their influence can change the trajectory of a girl's life. Adult Mentors focus on relationship building — offering guidance and support as our Lemon Aides and Teen Mentors learn about themselves, their community, and how they can make a difference in the world. Adult mentors will lead a group in our monthly program, and the time commitment is approximately 5 hours a month throughout the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide mentorship to Lemon Aides and Teen Mentors

• Attend monthly group meetings and assist girls in implementing the Lemon Aide Society’s leadership and social justice curriculum

• Facilitate leadership training sessions and guide project leaders through the stages of project development and evaluation

Qualifications:

• Experience working with girls and teens

• Effective communicator

• Reliable, dependable, and a strong work ethic

• Positive attitude and a desire to work with diverse sets of individuals and groups
