Gaga’s Butterflies
Gaga’s Butterflies is a flexible volunteer opportunity for 3rd grade and older, created by Macy Gutow, one of our Teen Mentors, in honor of her grandmother. Macy will lead Lemon Aides in celebrating birthdays at Legacy Midtown Park. One weekend each month, there will be two volunteer opportunities — one on Saturday to bake and get ready for the celebration, and one on Sunday helping celebrate at Legacy. There is no commitment to participate in this project; girls will have the opportunity to sign up the month before if they want to help. This opportunity is open to non-Lemon Aides as well!
Upcoming Volunteer Dates
Our next weekend of Gaga’s Butterflies is coming up soon! If you would like to join us in celebrating birthdays for the seniors at Legacy, we will be baking treats and making goodie bags on Saturday, November 15th from 9:30-10:30am and then handing out the treats to the seniors on Sunday, November 16th from 10:30-11:30am.
